Rooted in a decade of poetry slam, performance, and visual storytelling, these workshops blend creative writing, public speaking, and art direction into one fluid practice.
Whether I am working with high schoolers, young professionals, or seasoned crews, the first step is always about creating a safe space where people actually feel comfortable opening up. No corporate or academic stiffness, no boring presentations and name tags. With theater games, voice exercises, and playful entry points into language, the participants stop overthinking and just start expressing themselves.
From there, we dive into writing. I use quick prompts and open-format sessions to spark fast ideas, molding them into narratives, poems, short stories, or speeches. But the work doesn't just sit dead on a piece of paper. Participants are invited to push their words out into the real world: performing on a stage, printing their own zines, or building artistic installations. This is about exploring how a story lives beyond text, and showing that you can be serious about your craft while still being playful, loud, and unapologetically yourself.
