In February 2025, I was part of the art direction team tasked with bringing the University of Design Karlsruhe’s graduation show to life. Because our uni thrives on a completely multidisciplinary setup, we wanted the visual identity to combine digital and analog techniques together to represent everyone's unique focus.
Our approach was playful but straightforward: we treated each student’s artistic practice as their own little planet or unique form. By mapping these individual worlds out together, we created a mini-universe of completely different creative outcomes, all tied together by a familiar, cohesive feel. It was a beautiful exercise in creative problem-solving, finding a way to give every individual creator their own distinct space while keeping the entire exhibition feeling like one connected cosmos.
