Géisskan Kollektiv is a Luxembourg-based spoken word collective that organizes poetry slams and live literary events with small to major cultural institutions and independent festivals. When I took on the rebrand, the ultimate puzzle was balancing the quiet seriousness of written literature with the loud, spontaneous energy of live performance.
To bridge that gap, I went with a super clean, editorial layout featuring lots of white space and "Happy Times" font, which is basically the playful, slightly unserious cousin of Times New Roman. Then, to break up that structured, serious vibe, I combine the layouts with loose, hand-drawn sketches. This mix gives the collective a distinct look that fits in anywhere, effortlessly shifting from a gritty underground slam night to a clean museum gallery without losing its signature human touch.
